Greengram Dosa /Hesarukallu Dosa
Today i'll present you all with one of the healthy version of  Dosa i.e,Greengram Dosa. This is quite different from the regular dosa and tastes good when served hot accompanied with  Spicy Peanut Chutney.
Greengram is very good for weight loss during diet when you cut on calories you feel too hungry adding green gram to diet makes you feel satisfied because of its fiber content.
This recipe is very simple with only 4 ingredients.

Greengram:1 Cup

Rice:1/3 cup
Jeera:3/4 Tsp
Red Chilly: 1-2
Salt : 1 Tsp
Cooking Soda:Pinch (optional)


Soak greengrams and rice overnight  or 6-8 hrs. Grind soaked greengrams, rice along with jeera and red chillies to a smooth batter .Prepare batter to the consistency of regular dosa ,it should not be too thick or too watery.Add salt and pinch of cooking soda.Once batter is prepared,you can prepare dosa instantly as proving is not required.Take a ladle full of batter and put on a hot griddle/tawa  and cook for  45 seconds by closing the lid ,open the lid smear some ghee/oil and serve hot (if you wish to roast  dosa on both sides you can do that.But i dont cook on both the sides) with Spicy Peanut Chutney.You can relish the taste of this dosa when accompanied with Spicy Peanut Chutney  with regular coconut chutney ,i actually don't enjoy the Dosa. So I recommend all of you to try Spicy Peanut Chutney !
