Pizza Dough
Pizza dough is one of the most important recipe for all those who love to bake breads,buns and pizza. This recipe is a keeper,you can just follow the basic recipe and do variations by adding flavors of your choice.
You can never go wrong with this recipe provided your yeast is good :)I have struggled lot many times and many times my pizza base was a disaster .Finally i got perfect measurements and now i often use this dough for making buns without any fear it is fool proof.:)

All Purpose Flour/Maida:1 1/2 Cups +   flour for dusting
Instant Yeast : 1 Tbsp ( Active Dry Yeast:1 1/2 Tbsp)
Water: 2 Tbsp + 1/4 Cup
Milk:1/4 Cup
Sugar:1/2 Tbsp
Salt:3/4 Tsp
Olive Oil:1 1/2 Tbsp
Butter:1 Tbsp

Take warm water add sugar and yeast.Allow  for yeast proof  around 10 -15 minutes,if it does not froth then don't use the solution discard it and prepare it again.

Take a broad vessel,add flour,salt make a well out of it and add yeast solution,milk,olive oil  and butter .Mix it thoroughly using hand blender( or hands) to knead into a soft pliable dough. 

Initially you might find it bit sticky to your hands as you go on kneading it becomes soft.Keep it covered with a cling film/wet cloth for 2 hrs in a warm place for proving.Once its double in size,punch the dough and release the air .

Dust some flour and roll it using a rolling pin.And punch the edges using your fingers as shown in the picture. Prick the base with fork for uniform cooking. 

You can use this dough for making aloo buns,masala buns ,burger buns,garlic bread and many more. Keeping this measurement and procedure same ,you can play with flavours by adding  minced garlic,thyme,oregano,basil,curry leaves,onions ......................,left to your taste and choice.
