Its been so many days that i have not posted any of the recipes. I have taken maternity leave from blogging too ;) As Initial days went on bad, i couldn't cook or post anything.As my little one was sleeping , i found
some time and thought of completing few recipes which were there in my draft from a long time.Well hoping to come up with  some good future recipes.

Origin of Tangri Kabab is  fromMiddle East.There are many styles of doing tangdi kebab,which tastes ultimate when cooked in tandoor/grilled.To keep it simple, i have added only few ingredients that are easily available in the kitchen.Here i'm posting a stove top method using pressure cooker which can be cooked easily without even using tandoor or grill without using any fancy ingredients or special cookware.

Prep Time: 5 Min,6-8 Hours(Inactive) | Cook Time: 20 Minutes | Serves:6-8

Chicken Drumsticks(leg Pieces): 6-8 

Butter:2 Tbsp
Lemon juice:1 Tsp
Coriander Leaves for garnishing

First Marination:

Chilly Powder:1 Tsp
Coriander Powder:1/2 Tsp
Turmeric :Pinch
Jeera Powder:1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala:1/2 Tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste:1/2 Tsp
Salt:1 Tsp

Second Marination:

Hung Curds:1/4 Cup
Ginger Garlic Paste:1 Tsp
Garam Masala:1/2 Tsp
Coriander Powder:1/2 Tsp
Jeera Powder:1/2 Tsp
Chilly Powder:1 Tsp
Kitchen King Masala:1/2 Tsp
Oil:1/2 Tsp
Salt:1/2 Tsp


1. Hung the curd prior preparation about 30 minutes.Thoroughly wash the chicken pieces and make deep incision with a knife.

2.Mix all the ingredients with chicken given under first Marination and keep aside for about 1 Hour in refrigerator. Again mix all the ingredients under second marination and keep for minimum 4-5 hours. You can keep it overnight in refrigerator,more time you keep for marination.More tasty and tender ,it will be.

3.Take a pressure pan,arrange the chicken pieces ,close the lid and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Once pressure is released on its own.Open the pan and keep on high flame so that all water gets dried up. 

 4.Now take a griddle,add some butter and arranged the cooked chicken pieces.Toss it and cook until butter get coated and chicken look crisp. 

Add chopped coriander leaves and squeeze some lemon juice over it,and serve with onion rings and lemon wedges.
