It's so happen one day that few of my friends gave me a surprise visit  for tuesday lunch and they were vegetarians.......,Awwwwww,i was so very confused about preparing
delicious lunch in less time , so this  idea of paneer pepper dry came to my mind as i had prepared same thing with chicken the previous sunday ,so quickly replaced chicken with paneer, prepared this Paneer pepper dry as a starter and served them,by the time they completed the plate,lunch was ready.It turned out so well ,that everyone loved it so much and were asking for more :) Very Simple,less time and yummy too,should try it.Kids too will love this,just need to alter the spice amount.

Prep Time : 5 Minutes |Cooking Time: 15 Minutes | Serves:3- 4

Cottage Cheese/Paneer: 200 grams,cut into small cubes
Onion : 1 Medium-Big,Finely Chopped
Garlic Paste: 1 Tbsp
Ginger Paste: 1 Tbsp
Green Chilly; 2 Nos Chopped
Pepper Powder:1/2 Tbsp + 1 Tbsp
Jeera Powder: 1 Tsp
Soya Sauce: 1/2 Tbsp
Besan/Gram Flour: 1 Tbsp
Lemon Juice:1 Tsp
Salt As required (1/2 tsp -3/4 Tsp)
Fresh Coriander Chopped: 1 Tbsp
Oil: 1 Tbsp


Heat oil in a non stick pan, add ginger garlic paste,onion and saute well till raw smell goes off.

Add green chillies ,saute for a minute,add small cubes of paneer ,toss well and allow to cook till you get slight brown in colour for 7-8 minutes.

Add jeera and black pepper powder,soya sauce,salt  toss well,till it becomes dry. 

Now sprinkle gram flour/besan over the paneer.This helps to absorb moisture and coats the paneer lightly .

Add pepper powder,lemon juice,coriander leaves,adjust salt toss well and serve hot . It tastes real good,give a try.
