|Chettinad Style Fish Fry|
I was bored and kept on changing channels on television and came across this wonderful recipe from Aditya Bal’s Chakhle Academy. I was so thrilled by the recipe and couldn’t stop
myself from trying out this recipe the same day.And believe me after having this fish,my love for fish fry got doubled.If you are bored by trying same kind of fish fry recipes,then this one is going to be an hit.Fish pieces are marinated in a delectable chettinad flavour masala and tawa/pan fried till crisp.I’m not sure about its authenticity as chettinad style fish fry ,this is as shown on Television 🙂

PrepTime : 1 Hour (inactive) |Cooking Time: 10 Minutes | Serves: 4
Fennel Seeds:1 tsp
Coriander seeds: 2 tsp
Black peppercorns: 2 tsp
Mustard seeds:1/2 tsp
Oil: 1 Tsp to grind
Red chilli powder:2 tsp
Tamarind extract:5 tsp
Add all the roasted ingredients into a blender,add tomato,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,tamarind ,salt,water ,oil and blend to a smooth paste.
Spread the masala over fish .Sprinkle cornflour over it.Marinate the fish and keep in fridge for minimum 1-2 hrs.
