Coconut Chutney
A must try accompaniment for Idly/Dosa

- ½ Cup Fresh Coconut Grated
- 1 tablespoon Roasted gram/ Puffed gram
- 1-2 No's Green Chillies
- 1 teaspoon Jeera Seeds
- 2 Sprigs Curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon Coriander Leaves
- ¼ teaspoon Asafoetidia
- ¾ teaspoon Salt or as required
- ⅓ Cup Water or as required
Tempering:
- 2 teaspoon Ghee/Clarified Butter
- ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Jeera Seeds
- ½ Tsp Channa Dal / Bengal Gram Dal
- 1 teaspoon Urad Dal / Black gram Dal
- 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
- 1 No Dry Red Chilly broken
Take all the ingredients listed in a mixer chutney jar and grind to coarse by adding water as required .
Heat Ghee/Clarified butter in a Tadka Pan, add all the ingredients listed under tempering in order and pour over the grind chutney
